It started out with a desire to make my own postcards.  I didn’t like the standard miniature headshot postcards that reproduction houses were making.  I had Photoshop, a scanner and insomnia . . . all I needed was an idea to light up my imagination and I was off to the races.

I figured a postcard would be an inexpensive way to highlight my creativity and character.  And as an actor, you’ve got to do something to stand out, right?  So, I started making postcards for myself and that spurred some interest from my friends.  And hey, a little extra money never hurt. Postcards quickly lead to business cards which lead to brochures and flyers etc.  If it could be made using Photoshop, QuarkXpress, Illustrator or Pagemaker I was making it.

"Why not do websites?" someone once asked me.  "Oh, no.  I have no desire to learn how to do that.  Let someone else do that . . . You paid how much for your website?"  So I started designing websites.  After all, why pay someone else a boatload of money if you have all the basic tools to do it yourself?  "I'll just design my own website, no one else's.  Yeah, that's it."  Sounds kinda like an addict, doesn't it?

My first website took me three weeks to design.  I worked from 11 or 12 at night until five in the morning, seven nights a week.  I was very pleased with my work.  So were other people.  The process is time consuming and drives me crazy, but it can be fun too — especially when all the pieces fall into place.

Here are samples of the various work I’ve done over the years.  Enjoy.
