I started “painting” in 2002 when I acquired a Waccom drawing tablet from a friend of mine.  With no real idea how to use Photoshop, I embarked upon a journey to discover exactly what each and every feature did—mostly in the wee hours of the morning.

The drawing tablet gave me the freedom to use fine strokes, and asking questions of people "in the know" allowed me to explore the intricacies of the program.  After maybe six months of playing around, I began to save some of the pieces that I thought looked cool.  Here you'll find an accumulation of some of my “experiments” from the last five years.

Some were never meant to be anything more than technique trials, some were therapeutic explorations and some were just for fun.  I choose not to use titles so that you can have your own experience and not be colored by what I was thinking at the time.
